The Devine story
In the Summer of 2004 I wandered into the Clothes by Jane John stand at a popular local Craft Market and thought I was in heaven!! In fact I liked it so much that I acquired the business when Jane said that she was retiring!
So here I am – still trying to follow in Jane’s successful footsteps, designing and making an exclusive limited edition range of clothing, for us voluptuous ladies.
I’m using natural fabrics - silk, linen and cotton – in vibrant colours which I’m sure you’ll enjoy! Tops range from classic T-shape to the popular Jasmine style, flowing jackets mixing and matching with co-ordinating trousers and skirts. Designs fit curvy women between sizes 16 – 32 with prices starting from around £30 for a T-shape top.
I can only make a small number of each design – six is the maximum, with many designs being unique. At the moment I’m making tops, jackets and kaftans from vintage silk saris – the colours are incredible and each one is different!
I’m afraid that this makes it quite difficult to display and sell these fabulous fashions on a conventional website! However I’m delighted to be able to tell you that Simon and Kizzy Angell are now stocking the full range at their shop Panamart (www.panamart.co.uk) in Torrington, Devon.
